XP: Moving over from TTC after 35.

Hello, everyone:

I found so much support on this board during my pregnancy with DS#1. He was born in November 2009 (will be 2 next week!). I have since lurked and occasionally posted on this board ever since.

Today I got my BFP for #2. I am 42. My age, coupled with some chromosomal issues on DH's part makes me at higher risk for c/p or early miscarriage, but for today I am pregnant. :-)

I am high risk because of a blood clotting disorder (protein c deficiency).

A few things have changed since my pregnancy with with DS #1. For one thing, lovenox has gone generic (which makes me a little nervous). 

I look forward to hopefully settling in.

Congrats!  Not on being on the High-Risk board, but for the BFP!!!  Sending a lot of good thoughts your way, I hope everything goes smoothly for you, baby, and family!

Now that it's almost over it seems like it went by way too fast!  I was on bed rest on and off from 17 weeks so it seemed like it went on forever, but now it seems like it was just yesterday we were going through all our fertility treatments and just praying for a BFP!  Now he's almost here and it seems unreal!  I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and get to enjoy every minutes of it, it goes by so fast!
