What would you wear

I'm going to a school fundraiser tomorrow- it's a silent auction from 10-12, then lunch, then a fashion show. MIL will wear slacks, but she wears slacks to go to the local bar/pub for dinner.

Nice jeans, heals, nice top or dress pants? I wish I could go with a sweater dress, but I'm bringing DD since she'll nurse while I'm there (and I dispise the pump and refuse to do it on weekends unless absolutly necessary).

ETA- it's at a hotel

    Since it's afternoon and lunch, I would do jeans. If it was evening/dinner I maybe would wear slacks.

    Being a SAHM has turned me into a slob. Jeans is dressed up for me. I wouldn't take my fashion advice. Cool
