CVS brand pregnancy test... anyone use them?

I had a VERY faint line this morning. I mean, so faint that I had to hold it up in the light and still am questioning if it was even a line... Obviously I will take a different test in the morning and see if it is darker. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this :) TIA

Re: CVS brand pregnancy test... anyone use them?

  • I used them for my first pregnancy.  The second line on the positive sign was lighter, but I could see it even though it was pretty faint. (with FMU) But that pregnancy ended up to be a blighted ovum that never grew past 4w even though I didn't miscarry til 7w4d.  A day later I took a urine test in the afternoon at the military medical clinic to make pregnancy official & it was negative.  They pulled blood the next day & it was positive.

So the CVS tests work, even when your hormone level is jacked up from blighted ovum.  Pretty sure I used the CVS tests about 4w5d mark though - don't know if you're trying to test really early.

  • Yes, I'm testing kind of early. I know when I ovulated (2nd of Nov.). Normally I get my period on the 10th of the month but I O'd later this month. No signs of AF yet, and FAINT FAINT line this morning... I still have to wait it out, just wondered if anyone else used the CVS with the same results.

  • I used them, I thought they were pink dye but they were the blue dye and they gave me false positives!!!  There was always a slight very light line there even when i wasn't pregnant.  What a disappointment!
