Well, it seems that he was serious! At least for now he is doing amazing! A few accidents and most potty successes are because I tell him to go, and I help him. But he has no desire to put a diaper on. We went out last night for 1.5 hours and he kept the pull up dry. His diaper is still pretty wet come morning, but I don't expect overnight learning for awhile.
He is wearing a diaper to bed, and a pull up for nap. I think a few more days and I will just keep him in undies for the car. I didn't want to use pull ups, but I also don't want a soaked car seat!
I am so proud of him, I honestly didn't expect this until he was 2.5 or 3! We are only 4 full days in but I am hopeful!

That is great! I found out later on, but they sell car seat protectors at BBB. But you know those washable crib protector sheets? I had one of those that I put down on the car seat bc we just use undies in the car too. My mom ended up seeing them and did like a easy tie-blanket with fleece over the waterproof pad and cut a hole for the buckle so it stays in there.
But for the price, I should have just bought this if I knew about it ahead of time.
