My husband and I are expecting twins in the spring and currently have two sedans. We are trying to decide if we can manage with a sedan or if it will be too difficult with all the baby gear...and two babies! Any advice??

Re: Twins in a sedan
Both MH and I had Honda Civics before the twins. While there are likely smaller carseats available that might have fit better, the Graco Snugrides we got meant the Civics were a no go...we tried the seats in the back, and DH was WAY too tall to fit comfortably in the driver's seat with a carseat behind him. We got a Honda Odyssey (used...) and love all the room.
I would NOT want a 2-door vehicle with LOs! That would just be a pain. I'm sure you can make it work if you have to but I would really try to get a 4-door vehicle if you can! A minivan really isn't necessary IMO with two kids (unless you're carpooling, have a dog, etc.) but at least a 4-door sedan for sure.
Yeah and it was really cheap at Walmart. The one we got was similar to this but only about $39:

I LOVE those strollers. Highly recommend them! The DSNG got a ton of use the first 4 months especially. Then we got the City Mini and used either depending on the situation for 2 months and then stopped using the DSNG at 6 months b/c it was too heavy to push comfortably by that stage. It was very handy in the beginning though. We still use the city mini occasionally and love it. Both strollers are very popular with twin moms.
A friend also loaned us a Graco Duoglider (tandem) when the boys were 10m old. That comes in handy occasionally too for places with narrow aisles or when I need a big storage basket (e.g. shopping at the drug store with no double carts).
Etta Jane and Claire Elaine are here! Born March 28, 2012.
