So I finally got Mirena last week.  After placement  period seemed to lighten up/stop.  Once the bleeding was done, I found the threads easily.  Yesterday bleeding started up again.  Today, it seemed to stop, but I can't find the threads again.  Now I'm convinced it has fallen out.  I know to use a back up method, but I thought this was going to be an easy way not to worry!

Can you feel your threads at all times or am I just missing them. 

I go back to the DR in a few weeks for a follow up.

I bled (light) off and on for a while after placement, probably a few weeks.  It is probably still in there.  I don't remember the specifics, it was 4 years ago!  But I wouldn't worry too much.

I've never been able to feel mine, and it's been in there almost 2 years.  I'm sure you are ok.
