Homemade pudding fail.

If you don't stir enough while cooking the sugar will carmelize on the bottom of the pan...

Then if you don't add enough hot liquid to the egg before adding the egg to the mix you end up with cooked eggy bits...

So instead of creamy vaniella pudding, I've got vaniella flavoured egg drop soup with bits of caramel floating in it

At least DD1 still thinks its yummy.

If DD eats and likes it I don't think you can consider it a fail.
