I just got my latest progesterone bloodwork results, and I'm feeling pretty confused. Here is the history:
March--chemical pregnancy--1
June--1st round Clomid 50mg--9
October--2nd round Clomid 100mg--3.4
It just seems so strange to up my Clomid dosage and have my progesterone go down. The nurse said the doctor will probably increase my dosage even more, but she wants to see me first.
AF didn't start until 9dpo this cycle, which is better than normal, so I was really surprised by the low numbers. Anyone have any ideas?
TIA!
Re: Bloodwork question
I have low progesterone also. Learned some people just do-- what matters is the bell curve in progesterone during your cycle. I always ovulated on the lowest dose-- we had male factor issues also. Anything above 2 shows ovulation. Also using OPK's helps.
My RE kept me on only a 50 mg dosage of clomid because that always had ovulation even though I had low progesterone numbers. I always had right at a 10 day luteal phase. Adding more clomid won't necescarily make your progesterone numbers go up.
