? for moms regarding Internal Exams (while pregnant)

IF you remember-- Please share your 'progress' at each visit. (ex: 37w - fingertip, 38w, 2cm 50% effaced, etc)

With my 1st I was:

37 weeks - 1 cm

38 weeks - 2 cm, 50%

39 weeks - 2 cm, 70%

40 weeks - 3 cm, 80% (induced 2 days before my due date because of low fluid levels which ended up in c-section because her head was turned)

I had a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks for my 2nd and only had an internal at my 38 week appt because I was curious.  I was 1 cm dilated.  Went into early labor the day before my c-section and found out during the section that I was 5 cm dilated.

ETA:  I'm laughing that I remember this so well when I can barely remember anything these days!

I don't think I ever had anything more than a fingertip going on before I went into labor at 39 weeks with DD.

Last pregnancy, I was induced at 37w4d and started the induction at 1.5cm, it was the first time I was checked (well, they checked me a few days prior to make sure I was favorable, and I was 1.5 and stayed that way until induction. 

This pregnancy, I was checked at 34w for cramping and was 1.5cm and 50%...1.5 weeks later, rechecked, and the same. I could probably stay there for the next 4 weeks and end up needing another induction...but I hope not. I would like to just once experience a totally spontaneous labor.

37 weeks 1.5cm

water broke at 37w6d

DD

34.5 weeks 2cm

36 weeks 3cm

I was induced at exactly 37 weeks although I think i was 3.5cm when they started the induction.

I'm assuming this a rhetorical question since my signature clearly answers your question. And every woman, and even the same woman in different pregnancies are different. I was just curious what other mama's have experienced.
