I had my LAP yesterday and in what seems to be a common theme for DH and I regarding reproducing, the results were not what we expected. I was in surgery for 3 hours and our RE found extensive scar tissue all the way up to almost my liver. She removed it all in addition to a cycst on my left ovary and a couple of polyps in my uterus. She was shocked as am I that I don't have painful periods or any other symptoms. Because of all the damage she wasn't able to clear the tubes so we will be moving onto IVF. I'm nervous about the meds but happy to have answers and a new plan in place in a couple weeks.
I've been resting and taking it easy and DH has been a wonderful nurse

. A little sore but otherwise feeling fine.
