How did yo manage GD and weight with P17?

I have been reading that some women get GD with P17. My doctor said that one of my side effects could be gaining weight. I already weigh enough LOL. Did any of you have issues with this?

So far my side effects are head aches for 3-4 days after my weekly shot and my nausea seems like its returning along with being tired again like the beggining of pregnancy.
