I think all trampolines are a bad idea. (This coming from the girl who fell off one as a child and had to get 9 stitches right between my eyes.) I am not a fan of them at all.

Actually, that tramp is in use at several pediatric therapy clinics around town. As long as the child is being properly supervised and has the motor skills necessary to be on a tramp, it's a great toy. From what I've seen first hand, the handle makes it safer than a tramp without one--many kids don't quite have the balance or sense of their bodies in space to stay on without it and it's a great sensory tool (many kids need that "big" movement of jumping, the impact of landing on their joints, etc to help regulate their sensory systems.
Re: yeah right!
2 things i think about:
we've already had a one broken leg
and
i don't wanna be responsible for anyone else's kid getting injured at me house
Meh, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I will say every kid therapy place we've been to has one for the kids.
H loves reward time bouncing so much, we're thinking of getting him one.
It also doesn't have to sit out when company is over. I'd ask the other parents if it's ok to play on or not and put it away if not.
