Pgaler with tubal ligation question

Did any of you ladies have a tubal after your delivery?  DH and I have decided this will be our last child and I am having a tubal after she's born.  I was just curious how long after delivery did they perform the procedure and what was your recovery like?  Did recovery interfere with BF at all or bonding with your newborn?

I had a tubal with my RCS in September.  The procedure took about 10 minutes and there was no additional recovery time for me.  It did not interfere with BF or bonding for me, BFing is going great!

This exactly! Except mine was in July :P

I have to say, knowing for sure that we are done, 100%, with no looking back, has done WONDERS for me emotionally. It is such a load of weight off my shoulders and I feel better than I have, well, ever.

ETA: Holy snickers ladies, when did you get to be 31w??

Tell me about it!  I feel like I blinked and it's almost time for her to be here!!  Needless to say we still have a ton to do to get ready for her.
