Alexander is her daddy's mn so Alexa is after him.
We have basically already decided, but has Emmalyn become popular too? I know Emma is (obviously) but I've never heard of anyone being named it themselves except on Army Wives.

Personally I don't like Emmalyn. And apparently I've never met anyone who likes it enough to name their child because I've never met an Emmalyn before. So if you're worried about popularity, don't.
I don't like your spelling Emmalynn looks more balanced with the doubling of the 'm' and 'n.' I'm also not a huge fan. I'd prefer Emma Lynn Alexa with 2 MNs. Emma looks more grown up to me for an adult.
I've never heard of an Emmalyn either. It sounds a bit made up. Emmaline is a perfectly lovely similar name.

I don't like the sound of it. I like what the others have suggested "Emmaline" or just "Emma". Alexa is a beautiful name, maybe you could use that as the FN.

Emmalyn just looks like you took a popular name and added the suffix "lyn" to make it more unique. which is an annoying trend going on right now.
Emmeline looks much better and you could pronounce it the same way if you want (though people would probably have to be correct a lot)

ITA. Spelled the second way, though, I actually think it's a really pretty name. Good luck!
