Re: Friday check-in!
1. Not well. I've had a cold for several days and figured that was all it was until I threw up a couple times yesterday.
2. Highlight- I was in my hometown Mon-Wed and drove home Wed night and got to see DH. Lowlight- Getting sick yesterday... while the servicemen were here fixing our furnace.
3. Nothing planned. I hope I get to feeling better. If so, probably dinner out with DH.
4. Yes, I'm a SAHW. I'm planning to lay on the couch and watch TV. If I start feeling better, maybe I'll do something productive. I have a few cousins that were in the military, but no parents or grandparents. My sister's FIL is a Vet.

1. 9 days postpartum. I didn't think I would be typing that so soon. :-( Physically I feel much better than I did a week ago, but emotionally is a different story. Having 2 babies in the NICU is the hardest thing I've ever done.
2. High: Owen and Olivia have increased their breast milk feedings, are off the SIPAP and on the nasal cannula, and have their jaundice lights off - all is good news! Low: Owen has a grade III intraventricular hemorrhage - means he has bleeding in his brain. This news completely broke my heart.
3. My mom has her grandma shower this weekend, and I am going. Other than that, I will be at the NICU with my babies.
4. If I was working, I would not have the day off. Thankfully I am on maternity leave until mid-Feb.
Continued T&P heading your way. I hope your little ones do well in the NICU.

1. how are you feeling?
Blah, tomorrow I will be a week past my due date. I just don't know what to do with myself. I am bored out of my mind and I can't sleep at night. I feel great physically, but just a little drained mentally.
2. highlight/lowlight of your week?
My house is cleaned and my laundry is caught up. To me, that is one of the best feelings in the world, lol.
3. weekend plans?
Shopping for my husband. SInce I am unable to shop for myself, I fill my shopping void by shopping for my husband. He actually told me he is enjoying his new clothes and asked if we could go shoe shopping this weekend.
4. do you have the day off today? do you have know any Veterans personally to thank for it?
Thank you to... My Daddy is a Navy Vietnam Vet, Uncle Tony Retired Army, Uncle Gary Retired Army, Uncle Carl WWII Vet and so many others I could name, but just want to say THANK YOU to all the vets out there.
1. Feeling good!
2. Highlight: Made some good connections regarding research and my career.
Lowlight: After my bresat milk supply had an amazing response to Reglan last week (double it!), unfortunately I dropped back down to pumping <10 oz per day once I finished the course Unfortunately here are some potential side effects to being on it long-term but I'm going to try another course and see what happens.
3. Weekend Plans: Prepping for our vacation, then hopping on a plane to Florida on Sunday! I m nervous and super excited. We are flying into Sarasota where my parents own a condo and hanging out at the beach for 3 days before heading to Orlando for 5 more days. I am attending a conference for work but should have plenty of time for family fun too. We are going to the Magic Kingdom and possibly Animal Kingdom.
4. Nope, no day off for me. My grandfather was a POW in WWII and was awarded a purple heart, so I am very thankful for his service!
I'm glad to hear there is some progress.Sending T&P your way-Hang in there!!
1. how are you feeling? Tired, I'm headed to bed early tonight.
2. highlight/lowlight of your week? Highlight-Dinner with my mom and a friend at a cancer fundraiser, and spending a day working in the ER. Lowlight-all negative OPKs and no temp shift
3. weekend plans? I have blood work early tomorrow morning, then I'm off to work. I work Sunday as well.
4. do you have the day off today? do you have know any Veterans personally to thank for it? I worked today. My grandfather and step-father are both vets, my cousin is still active.
ETA-Have fun on your trip Whitney!!
1. Tiiiiiiired. Thank goodness DD decided to nap for two hours today so I could nap, since she only slept for 30 minutes yesterday.
2. Highlight: Sephora sale last night! I got to shop! Lowlight: Just feeling tired and blah and not being very hungry.
3. Planting some bulbs (hope it's not too late), church, resting.
4. Nope. My cousin is serving in the Army and will probably have to go to Afghanistan again in January. I also have some friends who are active duty Army and Air Force right now. I definitely thank them a lot.
Hugs and T&P.
