Belly button cleaning?

How often do you clean out LOs belly button..and i'm not talking soaking it while in the bath.

I dont use anything special, I just use a baby wipe here and there. It is very flush with the skin, so there is not much in there.

On another note, I have not seenblood around it, so I bet it was the diaper rubbing it.

I don't really know what the procedure is to clean it or how often to do it. I just wipe it off once a week if that much =/

I'm guessing my kid just has a disgusting belly button.  I have to get in there and clean all the time if not its disgusting.

There's not much to either kids. I don't honestly pay attention to it. They get a bath and scrub every night, so hope that's doing it. I'm totally checking when I get home though.
