Refresh my memory - 15-18 mo eating?

So, I'm beginning to wonder if I was around at all when my son was the age Natalie is now, geez.  I feel like I can't remember anything!

Would love to hear about how much/how often does your 15-18 month old eat?  She is SO fussy between the time she gets up from her nap and dinner that I'm wondering if I'm not feeding her enough.  I don't want to overfeed, etc.

Funny how the memory starts to go, hehe.

Thanks!

Re: Refresh my memory - 15-18 mo eating?

  • Well Dylan is 14 months and he eats a light breakfast (usually cheerios and a banana-like half of it or a gerber breakfast bar).  Lunch is a sandwich of some sort like pb&J or turkey and cheese..depending on how hungry he'll usually eat half though...and we try to add some sort of fruit like mandarin oranges or pineapple.  Dinner he eats whatever we eat but we try and get a few bites of meat, veggies and sometimes have to just give in and make him his own meal like mac n cheese and some sort of veggie that's sweet (sweet potato, glazed carrots, etc) if he's being super fussy.  This boy drinks milk all day long too.  Like about 5 sippy cups worth and then some.  I do give juice sometimes if he needs it (ie hasn't pooped by lunch) and there are a multitude of snacks in between (puffs, goldfish, mum mums, gerber banana cookies, arrowroot cookies and biscuits) but I try to limit it.  HTH!
