He sometimes just fusses a little and shifts around a lot, but he kept on and on for about 30 minutes at 3:30 this morning. I usually just let him fuss and I drift in and out of sleep. He didn't cry once, so I'm not really sure how long I let it go, but eventually I got up to go in there.
Firstly, even though we've reset the damn thing THREE times, our programmed thermostat set the heat to kick on at 58! It was 64 in my baby's room! So I turned it up.
His room was super dry and his voice was scratchy, so I started the humidifier. Once I actually got to him (after I made a warm bottle) he had his legs through the slats kicking his feet against the wall! I picked him up and he had 1 arm stuck inside his pajamas (he's woken up before with both legs in the same leg hole, LMAO). So, I picked up my little amputee and went to change his diaper. I'm half asleep, and it's dark. I don't EVER take his pajama feet out I just usually pull the diaper out from under him and put a new one in. So, I slide it out, and he had pooped! I dragged the poop all over my hand. By then I had to turn the light on. There were no wipes! OMG. I had to put him back in his crib so I could wash my hands and he screamed bloody murder...
Clean diaper, arm fixed, warm, humid room, teething tablets, and a warm bottle and he finally went back to sleep after 30 minutes of rocking and feeding. Geesh...
