Anyone just throw dutailier cushions in the washing machine?

Hi all, I purchased a $30 dutailier on craigslist. Cheap because it has a lot of dirt and stains on the removable cushions. Other wise the glider is in great shape! I have researched and everyone recommends steam cleaning / upholstery cleaning. This can be quite expensive! I will end up spending at least $100. Additionally, purchasing a new slip cover can run as high as almost $200! I was thinking I could just run them on delicate with some woolight... and have them air dry and see what happens.... what do you think?

I got my glider off Craigslist and had the same issue.  I just scrubbed and soaked in OxiClean in the bathtub (powdered OxiClean) and then hung them up to dry.  They turned out great!
