Late Term and Child Loss

Scheduled my Tubal

Well,  dh and I have both have had numerous conversations about whether getting my tubes tied is the right decision for us.   I think it is,  but I  want to throat punch anyone who says the following:

" Atleast you have your ds"

"You can always adopt"

"Think about how much more money you'll save with only having one child"

I am so grateful to have my ds, but the only thing that comforts me is that one day when I die, I will see and hold my baby girls again.  God may be holding them in heaven, but they're there waiting for me.   I will always miss them and love them, but even having another child won't bring them back.

I'm getting a traditional tubal ligation which will mean outpatient surgery.  My plan is to get it done the middle of January.   I'm still not entirely at peace, but I will be.

  • I think you should punch the next person who makes a stupid comment, maybe they will learn. I don't understand why any issues dealing with pregnancy/babies/kids people feel like they can say whatever is on their mind to you. I will keep you in my thoughts for your surgery.
