Well, dh and I have both have had numerous conversations about whether getting my tubes tied is the right decision for us. I think it is, but I want to throat punch anyone who says the following:
" Atleast you have your ds"
"You can always adopt"
"Think about how much more money you'll save with only having one child"
I am so grateful to have my ds, but the only thing that comforts me is that one day when I die, I will see and hold my baby girls again. God may be holding them in heaven, but they're there waiting for me. I will always miss them and love them, but even having another child won't bring them back.
I'm getting a traditional tubal ligation which will mean outpatient surgery. My plan is to get it done the middle of January. I'm still not entirely at peace, but I will be.
Re: Scheduled my Tubal
Anyone who says one of those comments definitely deserves a punch.
Keeping you in my thoughts. Big hugs.
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
Just punch them. Then they'll learn to never utter those words again.
