So, I have been wanting to climb some stairs but I've been having some issues with vertigo. I did with my last pregnancy too. I don't really have work out clothes that fit anymore - my pregnancy wardrobe is pretty pathetic at this point and since this is our last baby I don't want to go out and buy anything new with 5+ weeks to go. My work and home have no stairs. Where did you go to walk stairs? Was there a railing or did it not matter for you?
Re: Where did you climb stairs at the end of your pregnancy?
Uh, I had no interest in climbing stairs at the end of my pregnancy!
When I hit 40 weeks (and it was windy/freezing/rainy outside) I headed to the mall. I would walk up the stairs next to the escalator and then come down the escalator.
haha, this cracks me up bc I have been avoiding taking the stairs when I can, being the big lazy butt that I am!!!
but yes I would absolutely find somewhere with a railing - it just feels safer. the mall and local high school would probably be good places!!
"Oh come on Gromit, a bit more, you know... alluring!!"
I actually did the stairs at my Kaiser appointments, taking my toddler with me I walked up and down over and over the last few appointments.
ETA: I had no choice but to chase after him, not intentional stair walking.
