Pet loss

I have waking up every morning dispointed that I am still pregnant. Sad that I didnt go into labor overnight. I my midwife even suggested that I come in a second time this week to have my membranes stripped. But this morning we had to put my dog down and now I just hope the baby doesnt come for a while. I really feel like I need time to grieve and I don't think I will be able to cope with labor, because I can't stop crying.  I think I am going to cancel my appt for tomorrow and make mine for next week at the end of the week. I knew she was having trouble, but I really wanted a "family" picture with everyone.

I'm so sorry.  What a terrible time to have to deal with this- not that there's ever a good time for it.  Try not to worry about labor for a while, and take some time to grieve.  Best wishes...

I am so, so sorry about your loss. I can only imagine how you feel, if it were me though I think I would push the appointment back a couple of days.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.  I totally understand what you are saying.  Take the time you need and mourn.  You and your family will get through this.  Maybe the baby will be a blessing in disguise because he or she will take your mind off of it.  Just make sure you do what you need to do to get through it.  Take care of YOU.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  We had to put down one of our dogs over a year ago, and my husband and I still miss her dearly.  It's so hard to say goodbye to a beloved pet.

I am sorry this has happened. I would prob cancel too so have a bit of time to grieve.... Was your dog in a lot of pain? If so it might help to know he is suffering anymore.... You sound like you need a big hug.
