I am part of the FP Seahorse Cult (15 months later)

in Parenting after a Loss

Because...
-Every night at 7pm you can hear seahorse in surround sound because that's how both my kids go to sleep.
-My children will probably go to college with the sea horse.
-We have a back up Sea horse that I bought when we couldn't get to the house due to flooding and I had to buy emergency supplies 
-I have a box of batteries labeled "Seahorse battery replacements" just so I KNOW I have replacements
-Also for every baby shower I have attended since DD's birth I have bought 1 item off the registry and a Seahorse.

    Seahorse= AMAZING

    I wish it had a remote control though so when he wakes up in the middle of the night I can turn it on from my bed.

    We also love the seahorse, although I turned it off long ago.  Nibs loves to cuddle with it and sleeps with it every night, but thank God I don't have to listen to the music anymore.

    A few weeks ago, I went to turn it on and it didn't work.  (Fortunately, I tried it again and it worked.)  In those few seconds before it came on, I seriously had an anxiety attack.  There was full-on panic.  I'd probably be more calm if faced with robbery at gunpoint than the thought of the seahorse malfunctioning.

    Hey, sounds like I need to try this! Nap time is a drag.  Usually involves me holding baby for an hour with an occasional finger over the ear while my yahoo dogs bark at random citizens walking by.  Yeah, its gotta change :)
