Beta Hell!

My beta only dropped about 40, it is now only 398.  WTF!  It has been over a month now since our m/c.  Now it doesn't even look likely that we will be able to do IUI#6 by Christmas if it is going to go down that slow. 

During the u/s today, they found 3 beautiful follicles and my lining looked great.  My body is ready to move on but obviously not my hormones.  I hope the follicles don't get any bigger because I am already pretty uncomfortable.  UGH!  Will this hell ever end?

    TTC since 2008
    Dh:34, no issues.  Me:31, Endo, slightly hypothyroid, deformed ovary, paracentric inversion.
    4 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone +TI cycles= all BFN
    Lap in 2012 to remove large unresolving cyst discovered endo and double lobed ovary.
     6 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone IUI cycles= All BFN,
    1st IVF w/ICSI- June '13 Antagonist: Gonal-F, Menopur, Ganirelix, HcG, Estradiol, Crinone= 7 retrieved, 4 mature, 1 unfertilized, 2 abnormally fertilized, 1 normally fertilized.  2DT of only embryo and our miracle BFP.
    Our beloved baby boy was born sleeping Oct. 13, 2013 due to pROM/IC/Uterine infection.
    2nd IVF w/ICSI- Feb. '14 EPP/lupron/antagonist: Estrace, lupron, HGH, Gonal-F, Menopur, HcG, PIO, lovenox, doxy/dex.=21 retrieved, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!!  5dt of 1 blast/ 6 frozen. BFP!  Beta 1 9dp5dt:83.9  Beta 2: 11dp5dt: 145.2  Beta 3  14dp5dt: 497  Please be our sticky rainbow baby!

    I'm sorry hun. Beta hell sucks! I remember mine, I was only dropping about 2 a day for a month or so. The good (?) news is your body is pretty smart and you could o before you reach zero. I ovulated again before hitting zero. I hope those three follies give something good and I hope your hormones kick their butts back in gear.

    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt
    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy

    Ohmygoodness, I didn't realize you were still waiting on your beta to drop. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. Have they talked about giving you a methotrexate shot or doing a D&C?

    I hope things work themselves out for you... I hate that its making you miss starting a new cycle, and just dealing with it in the first place. ((hugs)) So not fair!

    08/04/13: Monitoring: 18 follicles (15mm, 13mm, a few 11mm, rest 10mm or below) E2- 1,505
    Start Augmentin- antibiotic prep
    08/06/13: Monitoring: 13 follicles (18mm, 17mm, rest b/w 15mm-16mm!) Ready to trigger!! E2- 2,248
    08/08/13: ER-- 14R, 13M, 10F 
    08/11/13: One fertilized late, we now have 11 embryos!
    08/13/13: 5dt-- 2 blasts (Sheldon and Penny) 3AA and 3BB, none to freeze
    8/23/13: BFFN... Sheldon and Penny didn't stick**

    **8/29/13: Follow up... bad fragmentation issues. Changing protocol to Antagonist for round #2 coming soon! Also started on 81mg Aspirin after getting blood panel done and found out I have PAI-1**

    **Oct 2013: After large cysts, finally starting IVF #2**
    IVF w/ICSI #2 (Antagonist Protocol)
    BCPs started back in Sept due to cysts
    10/27/13: Start stims (225 IUs Gonal-F + 75 IUs Menopur)
    11/03/13 - 11/05/13: Add Ganirelix to the mix
    11/06/13: 3 follicles at 18mm-- Ready to trigger!
    11/08/13: ER-- 17R, 13M, 8F
    11/13/13: 5dt-- 2 blasts (Luke and Leia) 5AB and 4AB, 1 frostie
    11/20/13- 11/23/13: light positives on FRERs and Wondofos
    11/22/13: BFN per RE office (under HCG of 10)
    11/27/13: CP ::sigh::

    *12/03/13: Follow up...great response and quality this time, was given 50% chance of it working, just didn't stick. Great plan for 2014! 

    **Jan 2014: Last IVF of our SRP**
    IVF w/ICSI, freeze all, then FET
    12/27/13: Start BCPs
    01/19/14: Stims (375 IUs Gonal-F + 75 IUs Menopur)

    That stinks!!!  If you have to have a m/c it should at least have the courtesy to happen quickly.  Will they do something else to speed things along or do you just have to wait and keep doing betas?

    Thanks ladies! Unfortunately there us nothing we can do to speed it up. They said that it is still going down so they don't want to do anything invasive. I just have to wait it out.

    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I'm so sorry and I remember how frustrating that is!  With my first m/c it took 6 weeks and methorextate to get back to zero (and it only started at 140!)

    This time, I had to have a second injection of methotrexate yesterday-and I'm hoping it works and they start falling.

    Its like an extra little gut punch-you have this weekly reminder of the loss b/c you have to monitor your betas and you can't move on with treatment or fully heal physcially until its over!  Huge hugs

    DX with Diminished Ovarian Reserve - AMH of 1.1 - 7/2011; AMH of .42 8/2012    BFP 9/1/10-M/C confirmed 9/8/10-Methotrexate 10/6/10
