For me: yoga pants, nursing tanks and a robe with some thick slipper socks, my own shampoo, brush, toiletries, make-up, my lap top and charger, iPod and charger, my camera gear
For baby: coming home outfit, hat, blanket, baby book, pacifiers (if you offer one early)
My hospital provided diapers, wipes (for baby), dermaplast, tucks pads, ice packs, pads, disposable underwear, etc. so I didn't pack those things for my 2nd but I did pack them for my 1st. Try and find out (if you do a hospital tour) if yours does or not beforehand so you don't go out and buy a bunch first
Some women pack snacks not that you can really eat in labor but for DH if there isn't a convenient place to grab food (esp. if you're laboring in the middle of the night and the cafeteria is closed)
Pretty much everything the pp said. I also brought flip flops for the shower. DH had a bag with his change of clothes and toiletries. We brought a bunch of snacks, drinks, sandwich for DH since we didn't know how long labor would be. Also if you have to go in to be induced (rather than being in active labor) you will want to take things to pass the time, like books, magazines, portable dvd player and movies. If you are planning to BF I would recommend bringing the boppy with you, it really helps you get positioned to nurse when you're in the hospital bed.
