Doh - I didn't even think about the clean factor! I really do like both looks, but I voted for white mostly because of the sample pics you showed: the white sample had more sleek and modern-looking cabinets like yours, and the grey sample had more rustic/weathered looking cabinets.
I still think with your granite, the grey will look awesome and give the tile more dimension. So I change my vote to grey!
I have white tile on the bathroom floor and did grey grout after my sister got the same tile with white grout and warned me that every single thing shows and it stains easily.
We farked up the grout when laying it (I no longer DIY as a result), so we have multiple shades of grey, but it's not that bad (although I plan on having it fixed eventually). I still love the grey though, and my sister is now jealous

yes- there is gray in the counter. i told him thats why i wanted gray grout, to tie that in a bit more.
