stuffing for toys

What is an EF stuffing for dolls or stuffed animals?  TIA! :)

Re: stuffing for toys

  • I like wool, but I also just got some bamboo/organic cotton from Joanne's.

  • if you sew, you can also use your scraps. cut them up into tiny pieces. it can be a little bit more lumpy than polylfil, depending on what kind of fabric you generally use, but it's definetly eco-friendly.

ditto pp that joanne's carries bamboo batting & fill.

  • It would take a few weeks to have enough, but I suggest dryer lint.  Soft, fluffy cotton, and free!

What a great idea.  I will have to try this out on something.
  • I've used bamboo stuffing from JoAnns...so soft and it was on sale.

  • I never even thought about this being an option!  Will it wash well... I don't know why (this may sound stupid) but for some reason I always thought that stuff was water soluble!  I blame it on its cotton candy texture.  But can it be washed again?
