Now it's my turn for the universe to dump on me...(whine/vent)

So last week IVF #1 was cancelled do to OHSS which was such a blow for me and dh. Monday I found out my mom has breast cancer and yesterday we found out her cancer is invasive. She still has more testing to do before we really know what is going on but we do know she will have to have surgery and some type of chemo and possibly radiation. I just don't know what to do with myself. I keep telling myself that this will be ok in the end. But kills me to think of what my mom is going to go through. It also doesn't help that with my job I see cancer patients all the time and I only see them because they are not doing well.... I also had a monitoring appointment at the RE's today and I knew I was going to have cysts but I have... get this....60!!! Has anyone else ever had that many? I'm still waiting for lab results. Life sucks right now but it will get better, right? Thanks for listening!

I'm really sorry to hear about you mom. I am in the same boat--my mom has breast cancer, too. There's no getting around it: it really sucks, but your mom will pull though it! Sending positive thoughts your way.
