hahah I love doing it with her too!! She claps on demand now, if you ask her to clap without clapping, she will do it...it was amazing seeing her recognize the word clap. Her latest, is she can put something in front of her face to play peek a boo and then move it away and go "ahhh." I was so amazed!! Now when she finds something she can hide behind, she picks it up and puts it in front of her eyes and then moves it away and goes "ahhh" I love playing with her even more these days.
DD is pretty into faceplanting these days and has the facial bruises to prove it. She pulls herself up, takes a step and then faceplants. This child has no fear. It doesn't seem to even bother her unless she is on the hardwood. lol!

My kid fell at my Aunt's yesterday and hit her head so badly that it started bleeding. Luckily, I was picking her up to take her to her Pedi for her cold and the Pedi had a look at it. I was so mad at my Aunt. DD falls a lot, hits her head, etc but never once has it bled and I guess I got mad just thinking about how much it must have hurt her.
p isn't into the pulling up, standing, walking phase yet. even if you try to get him to walk with you he has no interest (which is ok in my book, i'm not quite ready to see him take off yet). right now he's doing the same tongue clicking thing, and fish lips, he'll give you kisses, he can wave, & clap, & he's loving laughing uncontrollably or screeching as loud as he can. he'll also occasionally have a little babbling fit, he's liking trying to mimic words we say or noises we make. i just love seeing the wheels turn when they find something new!
