Turns out they could be a sign of pregnancy - because I got my BFP today at 12 DPO I am so excited and nervous, I just texted DH to ask if it was real because it feels like a dream. I hope this isn't considered a noob drive-by, I fully intended to stay on this board for a few months, luckily it seems like I won't have to. Everyone is great at answering questions and also providing a little snarky humor! So thanks for that! Can I still come back and lurk? I might miss the shananigans!
Symptoms: My boobs have been extremely sore and heavy feeling since a few days after O - I know this is a common PMS symptom, so I didn't get too excited about it. And my mouth and lips have been really dry feeling for the past week or so - I've been drinking a ton of water, but I still feel thirsty. And last night I was about *thisclose* to crying when I thought KFC forgot my mashed potatoes... pathetic, I know, but I really wanted those potatoes!
This was my second cycle trying after I had my Mirena removed, first cycle temping - and I would highly recommend that to anyone who isn't. Other than that, we didn't do anything else different.
I tried to get my husband's reaction on video (inspired by Dani's recent BFP post) but he woke up as I was trying to set up the camera and asked me 'are you pregnant?' ---- 'YEP!'. It was awesome anyways!
I'm cautiously moving to the 1st tri and birth month boards (FF says EDD is July 20th)... thanks again to everyone, I am hoping and praying that each and every one of you gets your take home baby very soon

It is not for us to say who, in the deepest sense, is or is not close to the spirit of Christ. We do not see into men's hearts. We cannot judge...It would be wicked arrogance for us to say that any man is or is not a Christian. ~C.S. Lewis

Congratulations!!! Sorry you weren't able to get the camera set up in time. It's stressful trying to do it without DH noticing!
Interestingly enough, my lips were super chapped last week too (when I got my BFP). I've been drinking a lot more water since the BFP though, and the issue has seemed to go away. Must be a dehydration thing.
