I def. have a budget but will end up spending over 300 for Claire. Evan, since he's little, won't get as much. I will probably spend 200 or slightly more on him. For both, the money I am spending includes clothes that I am buying for Christmas that they will need to get them through winter.
I feel like I got really good deals on everything I bought and only paid full price for 1 item. And can I brag - I bought Claire her Christmas Eve pj's and used a JCPenney coupon they sent so I spent .13 cents on them! Wahoo!

I voted 100-200. But it's being able to stay within that budge that's the problem. Last year we spent almost 400 on her. I just have a problem with buying presents for her I guess. There's just so many cute things out at Christmas time. So that's what I want to spend, i'm hoping that's what I will spend!

I shoot for under $50. He is so, so,so spoiled by his grandparents, aunt & uncles he doesn't need much from us. Plus his birthday is only 6 weeks before Xmas so we have gifts coming out the ears this whole "season".
It will probably be right around $100 for each girl. I just can't justify spending a ton of money when they're so young. Plus they'll get a bunch of stuff from family.
If R was spoiled by family than I wouldn't do so much. I hate to sound like this, but.....Dh's family never sends anything at all, my mom will ask and buy but she will buy the version she finds cheapest at BigLots, my dad/stepmom always treat well but usually just get a big thing and then a savings bond. This is all fine except the cheap crap mom buys breaks before the New Year. I don't expect people to go crazy so we just buy him what we want him to have, whatever else comes or doesn't come is fine.
I voted $100-$200, but I bet I go over....oh heck I already did. Kohl's have some great deals starting today, free ship and 30% off too! The mobigo I was eying was sold out before 6am!

Don't forget, you need good toys for your job. Right? That would totally be my excuse if I was in your situation!
I just added up what I bought for Ethan and since I got everything on clearance/sale I spent $47 on him. I thought I was closer to $100 or over. I will buy him a few stocking stuffers(aka cow tail, and some chocolate, coloring book) I don't consider clothes or pjs a gift since the kids could care less about them.
Re: Clicky poll for Christmas spending!
I voted SS.

We're hoping to keep it under $100 for each, closer to $50-75 if we can
I'm also going to be making a lot of gifts we're giving others.
