Do you mean "green monster" smoothies or protein shakes? I make a green portein shake by blending 1 scoop chocolate whey protein, 1T natural PB, ice, skim milk and a handful of spinach. I may add a banana too. It's delicious.
Shakeology by Beachbody - greenberry...but they're super-expensive.
Jackie Warner has an amazing green shake.
Also, I use 1/2 scoop either vanilla whey or soy, 1/2 frozen banana, 6 oz milk, rice milk, or almond milk, and 1 large handful fresh spinach. Getting your salad in first thing in the day is an amazing way to get your energy flowing.
It helps in the following ways:
1. Great super-healthy meal on the go...you can blend it, and drink it in the car on the way to work or school.
2. It has protein that makes you feel fuller longer than a carb-packed breakfast.
3. It has the RIGHT KIND of sugar...fructose. This allows your blood sugar to normalize first thing in the morning which curbs cravings. When we crave sugar, what our body is asking for is natural sugar..from fruit.
4. Energy. Take your multivitamin with this sucker and you'll be the energizer bunny.
We make ours at home and use the VitaMix Mixer. We take fresh fruit and veggies from the farmers market. I add no flavor whey, plain greek yogurt and honey. the other recipes look yummy too. I've tried Shakology and they are pretty darn yummy. For awhile I kept the portable pouches in my gym bag for post workout but have run out. refill?
For a while I was doing the formula of 60% fruit, 40% greens and adding ice and water to thin it out. I started adding whey protein and other things later. I really, really like them. I personally like baby spinach the best, but a lot of the "green smoothie" diet people online talk about using different greens all the time to switch up the nutrients. Kale (at least in my blender) didn't blend as well, and I tried dandelion greens, but I supposedly picked them when they were too big. Young dandelion greens have a pleasant taste, and big dandelion greens are BITTER. Also, if you use parsley, use it sparingly because it has a really strong taste...and sorry if this is TMI "goes right through you."
If you do a search for "green smoothie recipes," you should come up with a lot of great sites. Good luck!
I make green smoothies in my vitamix (which rocks, btw - i put off buying it for years b/c of cost, but it's been soooooo worth it). Mine are very simple - a very ripe banana, a cup of greens (often kale but I switch it up), a cup of soymilk, some ground flax seed, and ice. I like it because I won't eat leafy greens in any other form.

What do you mean by "green"? I'm doing Visalus and it's gluten free, kosher, diabetic friendly, etc... It's got a rediculous ammount of nutrition, and it's also less than $2 per meal. I have had SO much energy on this stuff it's insane. I'm doing it for nutrition, but a friend of mine is doing 2 a day for weight loss and in 4 weeks was down 15 lbs and 6 inches in her belly. PM me for more info
Oh yeah, and it tastes like cake mix

You can get it on Amazon.com as well.
I don't know about results, I use it just as an added health benefit.. I am still trying to get into a workout routine.
