Another ugly BFN

Well, I POAS this morning (14dpt, 12dpo), and it was negative. Again. I'm extra-bummed about it this time because I felt so positive about this cycle! Last cycle, I had a gut feeling (even before I bought the HPT) that it didn't work. This time, I was so sure it was going to be a BFP! And of course the higher you are, the harder you fall.

Now I have to do some serious thinking about what to do next. DH suggested that we take a break over the holidays (I think because he doesn't want to deal with the CloMonster over Christmas). I was initially resistant, but then we found out that he's going TDY (temporary duty... we're Air Force) to Alabama in June and July, which would be at the end of my hypothetical pregnancy (assuming I get KU anytime soon). So now I don't know... maybe we should wait to start the next round of medication.

Ugh..... I know I'm not officially out until AF shows her ugly face, but for now I'm just sad. And now I have to go take care of other people's adorable two-year-old children. Maybe it's time for a new job...

    Sorry to hear about your BFN. I know how much it hurts. Maybe taking a break will help you lower your stress a little and give you greater chance for success the next month you try again.

    I'm sorry! I'm on a forced break until at least January, and I'm trying to look at the positive side, that I will have a little me time to regroup.

    Seeing a bfn over and over is really hard.  It's just not fair...

    I'm sorry you got a BFN. I can relate, I'm pretty sure I am out this cycle as well. A break may be just what you need, however much it might stink to do that.  ((((hugs))))

    Sorry to hear about your BFN..hold on to that last shred of hope tho, you never know! Also, if I may be nosy, what part of Alabama is YH going TDY to? My parents live this.close to Ft. Rucker, I also grew up an Air-Force brat, that's why I'm curious..I also know how hard it is to take care of other people's children when you want one so badly..try to hang in there!
    Patiently waiting for our 1st since 9/2010.
    Dealing with MFI, good count, good motility, 3% morph-HSG all clear, all other test results came back normal, IUI is our next step
    May 2012- Clomid 50mg + IUI = BFN
    June- Cycle Break
    July- Forced cycle break due to cysts
    August- Femara, Trigger, IUI#2= ?

    First, I'm so sorry about the bfn - hopefully it's still a little early.  Second, love the CloMonster - isn't that the darn truth or what?  You will make a great decision on whether to take a break or not. HUGS.
