AF showed on Saturday so I started the Dex Saturday and Femara on Monday. All these meds are getting quite confusing since I have to take them at different times. CD 12 monitoring is next Wednesday.

QOTW: I ask this question because today, Nov. 9th, a station here in Buffalo is literally playing Christmas music, like ALL Christmas music! I feel it is wayyyyy too early for Christmas music. I think any time after Thanksgiving is fine, just not now! I don't want to listen to it every day from now until Christmas! Gah! Looks like I'll have to invest in new head phones so I don't hear my cubicle neighbors radio.

Still in my 2ww -will test this weekend but not feeling too positive about it. 

I haven't heard Christmas music on the radio yet, but i was at Kohls and they were playing it!  It doesn't bother me, I actually love Christmas music but it is a bit early to play before Thanksgiving.  It's like Thanksgiving gets looked over a lot!

I'd like to be added to the list; though this is probably my last IUI cycle before moving on to IVF.  I'm sekura, IUI # 3 (50 mg Clomid), currently in the 2ww.  Beta scheduled for 11/21. 

QOTW--I haven't heard any Christmas music on the radio yet, but I haven't checked the station that usually does it.  They usually start the day after Thanksgiving.

Update: I'm 7DPO today, this has been a tortureous 2WW and I'm only halfway done.  I'm not having any notable symptoms (not even phantom), I'm trying very hard not to get my hopes up, so hopefully it won't hurt as badly if this didn't work.

QOTW: No Christmas music yet, and although I love it, I don't think they should start playing it until December 1st.

IUI #1 was a BFN.  Currently taking Clomid 150mg CD3 - CD7 (today is CD4) and IUI after getting a +OPK and going in for a monitoring u/s and bloodwork. 

My RE doesn't want to use the trigger shot because  he doesn't see the need for me while on Clomid because my LH raises high enough to ovulate without the shot.

QOTW: The local radio station I listen to has not started playing Christmas music yet.  I think that Christmas music shouldn't start until at least the Friday after Thanksgiving.

In the middle of IUI #3 - first insem was yesterday, second one today.  And Sekura you and I have the same beta date - 11/21, hope both of us get wonderful news! 

QOTW:  I pretty much only listen to my ipod so I have no idea if the radio stations around here are in Christmas mode yet, but I have seen a lot of holiday stuff at my local Target.

Hey ladies,

I'd like to be added to the list - I'm Cubskers and I'm currently in the 2ww of my first IUI cycle.  I had back-to-back IUIs on 11/3 and 11/4 with a beta scheduled 11/16. 

I feel good about this as there were 2 big follies and DH's counts were fabulous.

GL to everyone else - I hope there's a rush of BFPs in November!

ETA:  No Christmas music yet!  But, I'm a purist and think Christmas music shouldn't begin until after Thanksgiving.

ETA: QOTW: No Christmas music on the radio yet that I have heard. I haven't been in any stores yet to know if they are playing Christmas music or not. I think the weekend after Thanksgiving is ok to start with the Christmas music.

I am offically in the 2ww and I believe the trigger shot is out of my system. This cycle I was on Letrozole and had the best results to day and DH had awesome numbers. I am very hopeful becasue this was out last IUI before the dr moves us on to IVF. I was feeling alot more stress before becasue of this but I have let it go and am in a good place.

No stations I know of are playing Christmas music yet and I think Thanksgiving week is acceptable for me I have a strict Black Friday rule.

Well IUI #4 is today, at my monitoring appointment yesterday I had a 23,21 and a 15mm follicle. Those are the best follicle numbers I have had for all of my IUI's. I triggered with Novarel yesterday around 9am so hopefully everything is timed really well this time. We also sent in our referral to our IVF clinic yesterday and if this last IUI doesn't work we should start cycling for IVF in January. QOTW: no Christmas music here on the radio yet, but I don't think they should start playing until after Thanksgiving. I just can't handle Christmas music for that long without going crazy.

Nothing exciting to report. IUI #4 is done. I go in on the 14th for progesterone b/w and the 21st for a beta. I usually test the day before so I can skip it if it's a BFN. These progesterone suppositories are annoying, especially because I am in a wedding on Friday. Not just the ickiness, but the side effects too.

QOTW: I haven't heard any Christmas music on my stations yet. I usually start listening to it at work after Thanksgiving.

Please add me to the list: lily8543. I am on day 5 of Clomid (CD7). I will go for my u/s (and hopefully trigger) on 11-15 for IUI #2 the next day (again, hopefully). I POAS 14 days after the trigger. 

QOTW: We have a radio station that started Christmas music the day after Halloween. MH is already listening to it at work. He calls me a grinch bc I only like Christmas music the week of Christmas (and only certain songs haha).

I am 12dpIUI #1. I tested this morning and got a BFN. I have a beta appt on 11/11...I'm know I'm not out until AF shows...but I'm getting all the normal AF signs...so I'm thinking it was a bust....boo

No Christmas music on my radio stations..we're in the middle of a stretch of crazy 70 degree weather in New England...it's nice but not getting me in the mood for the holidays

Just had IUI #2 this morning.  Will test 11/23.  Thats the day before Thanksgiving, so I told DH I will either be overindulging on turkey if I am KU or vodka if I am not :-) 

I have not heard any Christmas music yet.  I would say after Thanksgiving is the best time to start playing it.

Update: AF showed yesterday (4 days late, just enough to get my hopes up) and I had my baseline today. My cyst is gone and we are good to go with IUI#4 using injects. I am terrified it is all becoming very real, so tomorrow I start with 100IU of follistim!

QOTW: no Christmas music up here yet, they usually start it the day after thanksgiving which is a-okay with me! I will admit that I occasionally put my pandora Christmas station on when I am having a crappy day even in the middle of July.

I had IUI #3 this morning, and will test on 11/23, which is my birthday!  Here's hoping for a great birthday gift. 

QOTW: I haven't heard Christmas music on the radio yet, but I have in the stores.  I don't want to hear it until after Thanksgiving - it's my favorite holiday and it totally gets overshadowed.

Update: In the 2ww for IUI #2 and in the ongoing wait for a foster/adoption placement. We had a call a few days ago for a match, but unfortunately it didn't work out. We will probably take a break after this cycle until after the holidays. I'm not sure what we'll do then, but I'm leaning towards asking for another lap to actually remove the endo.

QOTW: I haven't heard it on the radio yet, but when I went into the dollar store today it was non-stop Christmas music. And, really bad Christmas music at that (you know, those cheesy store-radio versions).

Ok so my original post got eaten by the bump.  I am having bloodwork done tomorrow am to check for clotting disorders.  We'll have our WTF on the Monday of Thanksgiving week.  I hope they find some sort of explanation so we can get this show back on the road.

QOTW: No stations are playing Christmas music that I know of, but I'm ready for it to start!  I already downloaded Michael Buble's Christmas album and have been listening to it quite a bit in the car!

Can I join you?

 I'm RovinChick.  I was initially on a monitored cycle this month to get baselines.  I went in for post coital test on Monday and had bad results (thick mucus), but a nice follie and lining, so RE recommended an IUI the next day.  I'm not too optimistic, because the follie was gone when I came back.  She thinks I ovulated while I was sleeping and it wasn't too late, but we'll see.  

 This is IUI #2 for me.  Beta day is 11/22.  Good luck to you all!!

QOTW:  I think Christmas music should wait until after Thanksgiving.  Our mall had an xmas tree up before Halloween, which is pretty ridiculous also!

I'm so sorry I've been missing these... things have been so crazy around here! We had our 3rd IUI today (and final for the year). 9.2mil motile sperm and 2% morph.

Feeling goo and hopeful, so we shall see what this brings. If this one doesn't work, we're taking a break until the first of the year when we'll start injects. 

QOTW: We have 1 radio station that does a week of Christmas music in Aug (ALL Christmas music) and it drive me batty. And then this same station starts playing Christmas music the day after Halloween. I really hate it and refuse to listen to the station until after Thanksgiving. 

I believe that the day after Thanksgiving is an appropriate time to start playing Christmas music. It really gets ridiculous that places set out Christmas stuff the day after Halloween. Its too much Christmas too soon and WAY too over commercialized.

Christmas music is not yet on our radio stations here in south jersey - i think the week of thanksgiving is okay to start jamming out to it
