Diaper Genie II vs. Diaper Genie II Elite

Anyone tried both or the Elite?  we like the Genie II but I wasn't sure if the Elite works as well.  thanks!

I didn't even know there was an Elite Diaper Genie II. I did notice that the refills I have been buying are the "Elite" ones though, LOL!

We just bought the Elite a couple weeks ago after using our Genie II for two years. We talked about it and I'm about to return it for another Genie II. The Elite has some perks. It's taller and has a foot pedal to open the top. The cons far outweigh the perks. When you drop the diaper in, it opens completely letting all the stench out into the air. Each time you open it, it puts air into the bag which in turn blows more stench out.
