Ok. It's been 7-1/2 since DD's birth and I dropped the baby weight pretty quickly, number wise and I'm within 3lbs of pre-pregnancy weight. But I still have this extra flab around my midsection. My old dress pants do not fit. I went to the mall to get more but it was so discouraging. If they fit the waist, there are about 3 inches too long (& I suck as a sewer - a button is a major accomplishment for me.
I tried running (actually did a few 5k's so yeah for that) and that's been great for overall, but not waist.
Does anyone have any exercise that really worked on that area?
I'm getting tired of wearing skirts all the time. TIA

My waist is almost there. What helps me, I do intermediate yoga 3 times per week. My instructor is meant to train solders in my opinion, but it works well for me. She comes with a stopwatch in class. I know, now you are thinking where do I find time to do that, but I work/study at a university and these classes are offered noon to 1 pm. Otherwise I wouldn't do anything on my own. My stretch marks will never go away though, they look very ugly!
Patience... and you will get there.
I've been at pre-preg weight since 4 weeks...BUT I'm NOT back to pre-pregnancy shape....Holy Post Baby Jiggle!! My pants are uncomfortable, I've got a Costco sized muffin top, and most of my shirts don't fit (the breastfeeding boobs make my bottom of my shirt end just ABOVE my jiggle...).
Anyway - I started bootcamp yesterday, now I need to get my eating under control!! *sigh*
