We will be going from Kansas to Green Bay in a little over a week. We
will be flying and also have a layover of a few hours. Both DH and I
have flown before but DS hasn't. My question to you would be what advice
you have for keeping him occupied and happy? I am a bit scared as he
doesn't like to be confined to long amounts of time and he is going to
be sharing seats with DH and I. Help!!
Re: First flight with LO advice
We just flew to Florida this past weekend. DS doesn't take a paci, so I gave him a bottle during take-off to help with the ear pressure. He didn't want the sippy on the descent, so I guess his ears were fine. I brought a whole bag of snacks, toys, etc. and didn't really use any of it. The passengers around us were totally into DS (including the old woman across the aisle who played with him and sang him Norwegian songs!) and really entertained him on both flights! He pretty much slept throughout the entire flight (both ways). I did bring his blanket, which I used to cover him while he slept. It wasn't bad at all...I was pleasantly surprised.
Good luck!
