I got the results from my husbands SA. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if these numbers are too low and what my RE will do about it. I don't see my RE until the end of November.
Volume: 1.5
Viscosity: low
Concentration: 18 million/ml
Motility: 30%
Progression: 2-2+
Total Motile Count: 8.1 million/ml
Round Forms: 0
Morphology: 3%
Do we have a still have a chance?
Thanks.

Re: What can be done about an abnormal SA?
The count and motility are a bit low, and morph is borderline, depending on what scale they used and who you ask.
The RE will likely refer your DH to a urologist specializing in MFI for a repeat SA and exam. Depending on what they find, there are some things that can be done to help - especially if there is a varicocele or low testosterone.
Don't give up hope!

You sound a lot like me. I also have a luteal phase defect. This is my first month of being tested. I just had my cycle day 3 tests done today and will have my progesterone tested 7 days after I ovulate. I'm also going through cycle monitoring. I suspect I have weak ovulation too. My luteal phase is 9-10 days. I will get all of my results and discuss treatment when I see my RE at the end of November.
Good luck. I hope you get your bfp this month!
