I swore up and down I would temp this cycle..but with all the migraines I have been having this cycle and we were dogsitting for the last two weeks I just couldnt bring myself to wake up or I forgot....is it too late do you think? I have PCOS and have been anovulatory since our loss in July (I have 7dpo testing each month and use OPK's like daily and have had zero O pain & my cysts just barely went away so we are pretty positive I have not ovulated at all) , just finished cycle #2 Sunday....
If its too late I will wait until the next cycle.... ::sigh::
On a side note, I also have an appt. today with my dr to talk, he thinks I might also have Endo. Finally he is starting to listen to me.

Re: CD 11 to late to start temping this cycle?
I don't know a whole lot about PCOS, but you said you have been anovulatory since July, but get 7DPO blood work every month. Maybe, I'm missing something, but, what?
If you are actually on CD11, as in you got your period 11 days ago, I would go ahead and start temping. Especially if you tend to have longer cycles, you might be able to get enough date to figure out if you ovulate or not.

The 7dpo blood work is to check progesterone levels to see if I have ovulated... I always get faint line on the OPK's..sometime its really dark but 7dpo blood work confirms no O. I just always have LH in my system, and when PCOSers produce cysts, LH can surge b/c the body is getting ready to ovulate, but with PCOS you often can gear up to ovulate but instead of the egg continuing to mature and release and acually O, the egg dies and the follicle fills with fluids thus producing cysts. Which is why I can get +opk's but not really be Oing. Thats also why I have regular ultrasounds to check for cysts as well as 7dpo blood work..and last month I had cysts...
the 7dpo has just been basically confirming that I am not ovulating and the ultrasounds of cysts further confirm.....and then I wont have another chance to possibly O till the cysts go away and the follicles are clear...
