I see you did Lupron flare. So, on that protocol you did a higher dose for the first 3 days to tell your brain to send out more FSH. That only works with lupron for those first 3 days and then it no longer has that effect. After that the dose is lowered to keep you from ovulating. Its main purpose is to keep you from ovulating. Did your RE explain any of this to you? If not, then make sure to ask questions because you should know what they are doing to you. ETA- it looks like you are doing micro dose lupron flare because you are doing 10 in the AM and PM. Are they dropping it down to 5 units after 2-3 days?

My flare is the same....I take 10units am and 10 units pm. and now just added the menopur and the gonal-f but am still doing the same 10units am and pm.  Hmmm....  I thought that was what lupron did but wasn't entirely sure. they showed me how to do the shots but I don't know that the reason for each med was thoroughly discussed.  My FSH is really high and I am responding so poorly I will probably be cancelled my estrogen dropped.

Double check with them to see if you should drop it to 5 after the flare. I would imagine that 10 the entire time is going to over supress you. Even the 5iu over supressed me and was converted to IUI. GL! Hang in there. It is so stressful.

I just re-read your post. Def check on that. You are still doing 20 iu even after the flare? I want to say with 99% certainty that you are being over suppressed. Maybe someone else can chime in. But, I always thought that after the flare it is dropped to 5 iu.

I was also kept on 10 iu two times a day throughout the cycle...  I'll have to ask at the WTF..

It sounds like diff clinics have diff way of doing things. Thanks for clarifying McIrish.
