It's our first visit for DH today to the urologist. Anyone have experience in this arena? What should we expect? He already had an SA--so what else might they do?
They will take a full history, do a physical examine and most likely check his prostate. Our Urologist suspected a varicocele, so he also has a testicular ultrasound. DH also had to do blood work and another SA. We were sent to the Uro based on abnormalities in the first SA, so they did more detailed testing.

This! only we did not have a balls u/s LOL. Because the doc felt confident that DH did not have a varicocele and that his MFI issues are probably "just the way he his at this point in life" or due to his double hernia he had done back when he was 19 - as this can be a common cause of lower numbers.
But expect for at least a physical exam of the *ahem* area, blood work, an another S/A.
DH just had to do a phys exam and go over the SA. He was put on Clomid to try for 3 months and then in Jan will go back for another SA. Hope all goes well.
