Sometime between 3 & 4 am I fell asleep....

STANDING UP!!!

Lil man started getting a little restless in his crib at about 3:00 this morning. Because of the placement of the kids bedrooms (all right next to each other) I get up right away when I hear him - if I'm not there to rescue him when the fussing turns to crying he will wake up his sisters as well.

So I go down the hallway and hang out in his doorway for a couple minutes while he decides if it's just a 'fuss a little bit then back to sleep' kinda thing, or if it's a 'now I'm up and I want some boobage' kinda thing. I leaned up against his door frame and just kind of rested there for a little while. I remember a couple times my head kind of bobbing and startling me awake. I'm not sure when it happened or how long I had been standing in lil man's doorway, but at some point I fell asleep standing there, stumbled backward a couple steps, crashed right through dd's door (across the hall from A's) and landed in a thud on her bedroom floor.

Needless to say, from that point on, ALL THREE kids were up!! Awesome. Dh went and slept with dd#2, and dd#1 climbed into our bed and waited for me to come back from trying to calm A down. By that time, lil man was AWAKE. Like 'let's play and have lots of fun together at 4:00am' kind of awake. He finally went back down at about 5:45 and both girls were up by 6:30.

...this is gonna be a good day...
