The Dug.gars announced she is having baby #20 today. That is just not right. I would think they would have stopped after the last one was so sick.

That is just ridiculous.  Beyond ridiculous.  How can anoyne be that freaking fertile?  It's not as if there is a finite amount of children available to be born but even so, I can't help but view her as greedy!

I honestly think they will keep having kids until she runs out of eggs or dies (was that mean?). I don't think they believe in using birth control or preventing in anyway. What I want to know is how do they have time to have sex with 19 freaking kids?

REALLY?...I guess I missed the announcement thankfully. You know it really is crazy for her to be able to have kids anytime she wishes! Seriously the Mrs. is 44- or 45 years old. Nevermind having more kids she should be a part of some research project!!!!

Not wanting to stir the religion pot, but I will. They belive that it is God's will that allow them to continune to have children......funny knowing that there are many of us that pray and belive pretty much every second of their lives as still are not grated the joy of having one child little lone 20....... Yes, it?s hard to hear that the Duggar?s are having yet another baby when we can?t even have one, but them having a baby is not the reason I can?t.? It?s not like Michelle and Jim-Bob are taking all the babies in the world for themselves.? They have very strong religious beliefs and they do not believe in birth control.? They know that when they have sex, it could/will result in a baby and they are willing to accept that responsibility because they feel it is ?God?s will.?
I do not feel that them having 20+ children is irresponsible if it works for them.? The children are all well-taken care of, they are all healthy, they have food to eat, clothes on their backs, a roof over their head, and a wonderful relationship with one another.? They have been given amazing opportunities to see the world (courtesy of TLC I?m sure, but who cares?), they are well educated, talented and well-behaved.? And they each get time alone with their parents which is more than I can say for some families I know who only have 1 or 2 kids.? He.ll, one of my friend?s husbands leaves for work in the morning before his sons get up and doesn?t get home until after they are in bed and then goes hunting or to a bar for the game on the weekends.
Who?s to say what a ?responsible? number of children is?? Just because DH and I want three kids doesn?t mean that I think everyone who has 4 or more is irresponsible.? I even graduated college with a guy who was #17 out of 18 kids and he and his family were amazing and so happy.
? If there was evidence that the Duggar children were being abused, neglected or that they were continuing to have children with significant developmental/physical handicaps or they had substantial financial burdens then that would be a different story, but they don?t.? Michelle?s last pregnancy was difficult, that?s true, but I know many women whose first pregnancies were difficult, but they went on to have 2, 3 or 4 kids with no difficulties at all.
The fact of the matter is, Michelle?s body will eventually stop being able to get pregnant ? it just will. But as long as she and Jim-Bob want to grow their family I say let them.? Sure, it?s going to sting just like it does when anybody announces a pregnancy, but I can?t say I think what they are doing is wrong.
Now, if it were announced that Lindsey Lohan was pregnant, well then that would just throw me right into the looney-bin! ;-) ? ?

I think THIS is what annoys me the most.  Maybe their older children are ok with the expectation to be babysitters, but I think that's a crummy expectation to have for them.  What about what they want to do?  I would hardcore resent my parents if they expected me to do the same.  Maybe I'm just a horribly selfish person and the Duggar children are more selfless than I am.

If I see one more person on facebook preach that the Duggars are good parents and only God can decide for them when enough is enough, and no one should have the right to tell them to stop having kids blah blah blah blah blah, I am going to explode!

Just because you are physically able to have children does NOT mean you should. This goes for the Duggars as well as the crack mommas who aren't deserving of the children they are blessed with and anyone in between. At some point the Duggars need to realize that they are just a baby factory and not actually being 'parents' to all those children.

Ok, so I am coming back because I think my post came of as super b*tchy, and I didn't mean it to. I just mean that all of the ladies on my facebook who are preaching about it being God's choice and etc... are absloutely correct (in my belief system) BUT, it's also their responsibility to be responsible adults. God has blessed them with fertility, that doesn't mean they have to just keep popping out babies. They are seemingly doing the right things for their children (feeding, clothing, putting a roof over their head, etc...) which is absolutely wonderful. But isn't there more to being a good parent than just providing for them? That's my beef with it. I know plenty of dirt poor people, some who can't even do the basics for their children without help, but they are the best parents in the world! Everything they have goes to their kids, they spend every moment possible with them, teaching them, playing with them etc... As 2 adults you just can't stretch yourself far enough to provide that loving support to 20 kids. In the same sense, I know wealthy families who suck at being parents, but their kids have it all!

Good for the Duggars I guess, if this is what they want then more power to them. But, I don't have to agree with it. They signed up for opinions like mine when they took their lives to TV.

Oh, oh! Pick me!! I am not pregnant, but wish I was...and I know some pregnant people. Can I be on the Today Show?

As for the religion thing, by their logic God isn't cool with me having a baby.
