    Oh geez. That does not sound good. I'm so sorry.

    I know this will probably come off as cold, but try to remind yourself that you cannot fix this situation. Of course she's your mother and you care about her safety, but I hope that you don't let it stress you out to the max (like I know I would be doing, lol), because you can't change what's going on here, and regardless of what you do or don't do, none of this is your fault, ykwim? It sounds like you're a really good, caring daughter. I hope that this all works out for your mom.

    I guess part of the problem is that I'm not a "good" daughter. I stay out of it bc I know that she's bad for me (mentally and emotionally.) I hardly ever talk to her. I guess the problem is that I sometimes think about how I'll feel is something happens to her (God forbid) and I haven't put up with her in years. Having someone else validate that I'm not horrible for staying out of it helps so thank you for saying that.

    Oh honey, I'm so sorry that she is in that and you are dealing. Ditto pp, not your fault at all. I would also have separated myself some for self protection. 

    I know you are scared and I know the feeling of powerlessness. It's so hard to see someone continue to put themselves at risk and not be able to see what's happening and/or how to get out. The link below might help give you some ideas for what you can do. (((hugs)))
