XP- Update on my DE cycle (not great)

Sending hugs, I'm sorry this cycle isn't going as well as her previous cycles. I hope with the change in meds you can get a litte bit higher number then what the dr is seeing right now.

I saw your post of IF - I am so sorry that you are being faced with this.  I just can't believe it.  I do think it is really hard to say what the cut off should be as far as how many eggs to go with.  People have had success with 1 or 2 embies available at transfer and only a few more eggs at retrieval, but obviously it makes more sense that the more there are the better chance there could be. 

I saw the number 10 mentioned, maybe that is a good number to say is the lower limit.  I will never end up with 10 eggs myself, but those are mine, I'm not paying for someone else's.  I assume they are doing the same protocol as her previous cycles and she is just responding differently this time - ? 

I guess these would be questions I had as well - if you cancel this cycle are you going to use the same donor or look at someone else?  If you are still going to use her (and based on her past response that makes sense) are they going to stim her differently or the same?  I think that information is important to know. 

I just hope that she has a ton of eggs at her next check and that you don't have to sorry about this at all.  ((((hugs))))

I'm so sorry Luna! I hope that you get a better idea of what you should do tomorrow. This is a difficult situation and the unknown of what is "enough" makes it tougher! HUGS!

I am super bummed things aren't looking too hot right now. This isn't your fault though. It's just a shitty situation. I really hope the adjustment in her meds helps a ton and you end up swimming in embies. ::hugs::
