I am so not ready for this! She just started getting up on her hands and knees two weeks ago (only in her crib for the first week and a half). And now all of a sudden she's moving! Not the traditional crawl yet, more of an armyish crawl. I guess it's time to put up the baby gates, cover the plugs, and attach the DVD shelf to the wall...I am not ready! Think I can just keep her in the jumperoo all day
Re: Crawling!
Of COURSE you can!!
I'm not ready either but my LO isn't even up on all fours yet or sitting unassisted, so I've got a while. She can roll anywhere she wants to go; like under a piece of furniture or over to the one and only house plant I own, because you know- nothing says safe-baby-house like a large house plant on the floor.

S is the opposite...lol. He is so excited about being mobile he is all OVER the house. And wants oh so desperately to be standing up all the time, but has not figured out (yet) how to pull himself up.
This is Beaker exactly. It's weird because neither of my boys did the all-fours thing, so it's strange to have a baby who does things a little more "textbook."
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
My pregnancy after Infertility Blog
Our baby girl was born on April 27, 2011!
Our little guy got an early start and has been army crawling since 4 1/2 months. Around 5 1/2 he got the normal crawl down, and now he is pulling himself up to stand on everything. It is crazy...we can't put him down anywhere without taking our eyes off of him for a second. He likes to go straight to the dog's water bowl and tip it over. I agree, it's like having a different child all of a sudden. We had laughed when our poor friends talked about how difficult it was chasing their daughter around when she started walking at 8 months...now we are worried we are going to be in the same boat. It is so exciting to see him learning all these new skills so quickly, but scary at the same time. We are hoping he decides to take his time with the walking thing.
We took a video of him on my iPhone last night, to send to our parents:
