1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I think 25 this week, I need to check my ticker. Feeling pretty good, after a low key weekend.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Day after T-day, gluclose test, normal check up.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Acouple playdates, dinner with a friend, and M's having a sleepover with my Mom.
4. Monday confession? I let Walker eat acouple pieces of dog food. I keep thinking he will realize it doesnt taste good, but every morning he goes and takes a piece.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin Since we have surprise babies we go into it with a list of 3 or so for each sex. Walker was named around 12 hrs old.
6. Moms of 1+: When did you notice that your LO had started to prefer the position that they ended up in when they were born? (head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) -soralette Both of the boys were in that position for the majority of pg, especially all of 3rd tri.
7. For the first time moms that had an anterior placenta, how did you judge fetal movement when its hard to feel all the time? Did you start feeling more later on or was it always just a tickle? Right now she feels like a fish swimming around in there and I feel her once or twice a day but never consistently. ?purvalicious n/a sorry.

2. What are you looking forward to this week? DH's birthday.
3. Monday confession? I think I'm really starting to hate the TTC process. I'm just plain tired of thinking about it. It has added a lot of stress and has created minor tension in our relationship. I'm thinking we need to stop for a while and re-group. Maybe start again at the New Year.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 11, m/s continues with a vengeance
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? NT Scan on Fri. 11/11, reg. check up on 11/17
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Looking forward to our NT Scan, but also really nervous for it.
4. Monday confession?
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? With Lucy, we knew early on and since I was sure we were having a girl, we didn't really even talk about boys names. We found out at 13 wks. she was a girl and she was Lucy from that point on. This time, we have a handful of each name and will finalize after we find out the sex.
6. Moms of 1+: When did you notice that your LO had started to prefer the position that they ended up in when they were born? (head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) I think by around 35-36 wks. she was stuck for good, head down, sunny side up. After that, she physically didn't have room to flip anymore. She tried and I swear I thought she was going to break my ribs every time.
7. For the first time moms that had an anterior placenta, how did you judge fetal movement when its hard to feel all the time? Did you start feeling more later on or was it always just a tickle? Right now she feels like a fish swimming around in there and I feel her once or twice a day but never consistently. n/a
8. When did first trimester symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.) end for you? I'm almost at 12 weeks and mine are still going strong, I want a light at the end of the tunnel! With DD, I never had strong symptoms, it was all pretty minor but they went away right around 12-13 wks. This time, it is way worse and I am praying the end it near!

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 26. I'm having lots of pain near my ribs. My guess is that it's just baby making room, but I'll ask the midwife what she thinks about it.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Today! After today I go to bi-weekly appointments. This was supposed to be the first appointment where I started to bring DH with me evy time, but he's sick at home in bed. I don't think anything else special will happen.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Just having it be over- we've been battling colds and I'm nursing DH and handling a lot at work. I need a break and it's only Monday.
4. Monday confession? I woke up this morning and thought it was Tuesday.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? We picked out the first name (Katherine) a few weeks ago, but still are at a loss for a middle name.
6. Moms of 1+: When did you notice that your LO had started to prefer the position that they ended up in when they were born? (head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) -soralette N/A

I hate my job. I don't do any work anymore. They can't fire me (which is good), but I can't quite either so I'm stuck until July. I'm so ready to start the next stage of my career.

Dawnies--TTC is rough. We ended up taking quite a few breaks along the way. Usually one month off for every 3 or 4 trying. Let me know if you ever want to get together to vent. It helps, really.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 25. Just back pain from carrying my 2yo.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Wednesday. Going to ask what to do about my never ending sinus infection. 7 week is a bit ridiculous, no?
3. What are you looking forward to this week? The weekend

5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin We had it down to 2 with our 1st & decided once she was born. This time I THINK we have one picked, but it's subject to change.
6. Moms of 1+: When did you notice that your LO had started to prefer the position that they ended up in when they were born? (head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) -soralette
7. For the first time moms that had an anterior placenta, how did you judge fetal movement when its hard to feel all the time? Did you start feeling more later on or was it always just a tickle? Right now she feels like a fish swimming around in there and I feel her once or twice a day but never consistently. ?purvalicious It's only hard to feel in the early 20 weeks. As baby gets bigger you shouldn't have an issue feeling her.
8. When did first trimester symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.) end for you? I'm almost at 12 weeks and mine are still going strong, I want a light at the end of the tunnel! -fyziksgirl I was puking daily until 13.5 weeks. Then it slowly went away. Hang in there - you're almost there!!

EDD is June 4, when/if we can we will be finding out what we are having.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next Thursday. Nothing special. Had the GBS test last week. It was negative!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? DH and I are going out for a one last fancy dinner before Cooper arrives.

5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin We had our name picked out as soon as we knew it was a boy. We had agreed on a boy name before we knew what we were having.

I'm almost at 12 weeks and mine are still going strong, I want a light at the end of the tunnel! -fyziksgirl First, sending hugs your way. It's NO fun at all! For me, the symptoms didn't end until I was into my second tri., roughly 16 weeks I started feeling better.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 27 weeks. Starting to have more heartburn and feel a lot of stretching at night. It's tough to get comfortable when I sleep.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next Wednesday - the glucose test. It's also my first full appointment with my midwife (switched from OB)
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Trying to fit in a prenatal yoga class one night.
4. Monday confession? TMI: I just cannot get enough sex lately! DH is so happy about this new development.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin We still don't. We have a list, so every week we're referring to her by it to see if it clicks.
8. When did first trimester symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.) end for you? I'm almost at 12 weeks and mine are still going strong, I want a light at the end of the tunnel! -fyziksgirl Mine didn't end until 15 weeks (the sickness at least), and the fatigue didn't fade away until more like 17 weeks.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 28 on Thursday. Just the usual aches and pains.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? At the end of the month, just my usual appointment.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Well, NOT covering state volleyball for two days. Bleachers are NOT fun to sit in for long periods of time. How about a nog latte?
4. Monday confession? I shaved my legs yesterday for the first time in more than a month. I am fabulously lazy.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin We had some ideas right away and finalized one of each at about 12 weeks.
6. Moms of 1+: When did you notice that your LO had started to prefer the position that they ended up in when they were born? (head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) -soralette All I remember was that my kidneys got kicked a lot, so whatever angle that was clearly was a favorite.
7. For the first time moms that had an anterior placenta, how did you judge fetal movement when its hard to feel all the time? Did you start feeling more later on or was it always just a tickle? Right now she feels like a fish swimming around in there and I feel her once or twice a day but never consistently. ?purvalicious I don't have an AP, but the once or twice a day is common, at least from what I know, in general. I didn't start feeling super consistent movement until about 22 or so weeks.
8. When did first trimester symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.) end for you? I'm almost at 12 weeks and mine are still going strong, I want a light at the end of the tunnel! -fyziksgirl Ha. Never. I am 27 weeks and still drugged.
9. Questions for next week? Are you signing Christmas cards from the new baby, too, if you're not due until after the holidays? I see it printed on photo cards sometimes.
Thank you! I may take you up on that. We are finding the same pattern. I'm tired of it after a few months. I think taking breaks would be more helpful than hurtful to us at this point.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? - 15 weeks. Still feeling good. I'm in that phase where you don't really feel pregnant because m/s has gone away and movement hasn't started yet.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? - 11/28. Just a standard check-up.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? - Not much of anything. It's my weekend to work.
4. Monday confession? - Jake is asleep and I'm sitting on the couch watching reruns of Friends on demand while eating M&Ms in my pajamas. I feel so lazy.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin - With Jake we had his name picked out before we even started TTC. We have boy #2's name picked out as well (if this one is a boy). Before we found out Jake was a boy we narrowed it down to 2 potential girl names. Now we have it narrowed down to 2 different girl names but are undecided on which one to go with if we have a girl. I am dead set this is a girl so it's killing me to not have a name decided on.

(head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) -soralette - Jake pretty much didn't move drastically from 22 weeks til the end. His butt was in the right side of my rib cage and he was sorta laying on his side. Of course he came out sideways/sunny side up. Ugh.

Woooo Hooo!!! Thinking sticky baby thoughts for you, T. we should GTG during your 2ww if you need to keep your mind busy. It SUCKS to hate your job while you are going through all of this: I can relate to that part. Soon it will be July and you'll be KTFU and you'll be in a new job and it'll all be a distant memory.

26w4d today! Nothing much new, other than residual issues from the 3hr glucose test earlier today. UGH.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?
Went in today for the 3hr glucose test, which was crap and sucked.
Next appointment is next week, on Thursday. We're up to biweekly appointments now, woohoo! Only because I'm Rh- and need a 28 week appointment for my RhoGAM, but I'm still counting it, darn it. I also intend to discuss, in some detail, labour and delivery with the OB.

Third trimester starts on Thursday!

Depending on how my OB handles the GD results and her responses to my questions about Labour & Delivery, I may well change providers. She's a very nice lady, but I'm pretty damn frustrated with this situation.

We plan to have our final list (~3-5 per sex) settled on by 15th January, heh. We're pretty indecisive, so we had to set up a pretty strict timeline!

The u/s tech says my placenta's anterior, but I guess I have a ninja baby or something -- I feel movement all the time, starting at 13w or so with flutters, and my first kicks (felt like the world's gentlest and tiniest finger poking me!) at 16w. It took a few weeks for it to get consistent, but now it's every day and sometimes hard enough that I feel like I got punched in the gut.

3. What are you looking forward to this week? - The weekend? Also hoping DH figures out his Thanksgiving plans (I refused to drive 20 hours round trip for a day and a half at the in-laws -- I just hope he'll stay home with me).
4. Monday confession? - I had a very lazy Monday and am now swamped catching up on the work I should've done yesterday.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin - We haven't even really discussed it. Planning to wait until after the ultrasound so we only have 1 gender to worry about.

9. Questions for next week? For moms of 1+, did you eventually get a nice (read expensive) stroller? My DH saw a BOB stroller in BRU and it's the ONLY piece of baby gear he's interested in...are they "worth it"?

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I'm 10 weeks, 4 days! I'm all sorts of sore. Lots of growing pains lately.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I just had my first appointment today and first u/s. We saw the baby and everything looks great. My next one should in another 4 weeks or so. I have to switch clinics (long story) so whenever the new clinic wants to see me I guess.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Going to visit family on Friday! DH has 8 days of vacation, its going to be great to get away for a bit to some warmer weather.
4. Monday confession? I'm listening to Christmas music already. I love it, one month is not long enough for me.
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? ?jennlin Both our older kids had names by about 21 weeks. We had ones picked out before the big u/s both times but then stumbled across different ones after and that was that.
6. Moms of 1+: When did you notice that your LO had started to prefer the position that they ended up in when they were born? (head down, facing forward/facing back, breech, etc) -No idea. DC1 didn't go head down until 35 weeks I want to say and DC2 went head down pretty early. I don't remember them preferring it though before that.
7. For the first time moms that had an anterior placenta, how did you judge fetal movement when its hard to feel all the time? Did you start feeling more later on or was it always just a tickle? Right now she feels like a fish swimming around in there and I feel her once or twice a day but never consistently. ?purvalicious I had an anterior placenta with #2. I felt flutters early on and then not as much from around week 15/16 to week 19 when the u/s confirmed my placenta was anterior. After that though I felt normal movement starting around 21-22 weeks and it was like I didn't have a placenta in the way. But #2 was CRAZY active. So it was probably a good thing I had some padding there
8. When did first trimester symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.) end for you? I'm almost at 12 weeks and mine are still going strong, I want a light at the end of the tunnel! -fyziksgirl Well into second tri. I'm sickest in late first to early/mid second tri. I don't feel AWESOME until late 2nd tri and early 3rd tri

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I am in my 25th week! And no real new aches or pains...just going day by day and hoping to maintain my energy!
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next appointment is tomorrow and hopefully I won't have gained TOO much weight!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Just the three day weekend and the hopes of sleeping in a little bit
4. Monday confession? Had coffee for the first time in over a year...tried to make it the entire pregnancy without it, but just couldn't last!
5. At what point did you have a name picked out? Still working on narrowing it down! SOOO stressed about not having a name!

Right now she feels like a fish swimming around in there and I feel her once or twice a day but never consistently. ?purvalicious
8. When did first trimester symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.) end for you? I was only nauceous for a few days...once I was on my prenatals, the morning sickness went away. I did have the complete total body exhaustion/aches until week 9, but since then I have been very lucky!
