Bella band

Hi all.

I was just wondering if anyone tried wearing a bella band after the c-section and what were the results?

I was thinking of getting one to use, and hoping it would work well for afterwards to compress and for support. Also to help prevent my pants from rubbing against my incision.

They aren't that tight so I'm not sure how much compression you would actually get from wearing one.  I know some people have used them after to keep the maternity pants up when their non-maternity pants don't fit yet or are still too uncomfortable.

I used one for awhile while I was still too fat for my regular jeans but mentally wanted out of maternity jeans.  It didn't really offer compression or support, it was more so I had other clothing options.

Ahhh ok thanks for the info, I assumed that it would be tighter elastic.

That helps in my decision to get one or not.

I wore mine a couple times thinking it would be supportive and keep my pants from rubbing but I found it uncomfortable, actually.

I used a compression band and I loved it.  I had a bella band but that was for my maternity clothes.
