    i voted for leah.  layla reminds me of the song by eric clapton.  which isn't necessarily a bad thing except it was about a cheating wife.

    that being said, ppl of your DDs generation won't make that association as readily as older ppl do.

    Layla. An Eric Clapton song. It means "night." A name from a tragic/romantic Indian legend.

    Leah. It means "tired." In the Old Testament, the name of an unfortunate, homely girl whose father tricked her husband into marrying her, and who was never loved. God felt so sorry for her that he gave her lots of children to make up for it.

     Not a hard decision, IMO.
