Cloth Diapering

Joann's CD kits

Sorry if this has been discussed. I went back 10 pages and didn't see it referenced.

Has anyone tried their kits? It seems like after you buy all the parts and pieces (separately) it's not worth the price and you'd spend less money buying new dipes.

Re: Joann's CD kits

  • I've only bought parts of their kits (a PUL pack and a couple odds and ends). I don't think that you do save any money going that route (unless you use the MANY coupons JoAnn's has), but it is a nice way to try out diaper making to see if you like it before investing a lot of time/money in other supplies. Otherwise, you have to buy materials by the yard from online diaper supply companies (which is usually cheaper than the Babyville line), but if you end up hating it, you're stuck with a lot of stuff :-) If you do like it, though, there are lots of other options for supplies online!

  • I've heard that the line of products they have (BabyVille) isn't a good quality at all - and therefore is even less "worth it" to go that route...
